Introduction to Adobe Muse

Create websites as easily as you create layouts for print. You can design and publish original HTML pages to the latest web standards without writing code. Now in beta, Muse makes it a snap to produce unique, professional websites.

David Lambert, CPAUG Co-Manager, will introduce you to Adobe Muse

  • Learn what Adobe Muse is and what it can do for you and your workflow
  • Get familiar with the Adobe Muse interface
  • Explore Muse’s current capabilities using demo projects
  • Learn how to:
-Plan your Site – sitemaps and master pages
-Focus on Design and not technology
-Create compelling interactivity with Muse’s built-in tools
-Publish and preview your site
  • Additionally, we’ll discuss some of the controversy surrounding Muse. Much like the controversy surrounding Adobe Edge.

Bi-Annual CS5.5 Raffle!

We’ll also be doing our bi-annual Adobe CS5.5 software raffle and have other nice prizes including a Webucator free course certificate at this meeting so don’t miss it!!

Adobe CS5.5 Suite raffle information and rules are as follows:
One lucky CPAUG member will be randomly selected from a raffle to win their choice of one of the CS5.5 Suites! Adobe® Creative Suite® 5 delivers tightly integrated software and services that measurably improve productivity and enable you to produce richly expressive work in print, web, interactive, video, audio, and mobile.

Everyone who is present will get a raffle ticket but the raffle will include bonus tickets for CPAUG members and a better chance to win.
A) 1 extra ticket for every meeting you’ve attended and signed-in for since July 2011.
B) 5 extra tickets for bringing a new person to this meeting.

CS5.5 Master Collection is excluded. Maximum 16 total tickets per person. Winner must not have won a CS Suite in the past 12 months.

  1. …and I’m out (traveled about 17 miles into deep fog and rain, and as I had no Rudolph, decided it best to turn back; hey, can we have the next meeting up here in Schuylkill County?). All the best, and I’ll catch the recording.
