Come and learn how to make work…less work!

Part 1: IFTTT

Megan Fister will be talking about how to use the automation website “IFTTT” to make a wide variety of tasks automated – WITHOUT ANY CODE! This presentation will be geared towards those who have never used IFTTT. For example, learn how to “If you export from Adobe Lightroom to Dropbox sync folder, then queue a new photo post on Tumblr” or “If there’s a new post for ‘graphic designer’ on Craigslist, send me an email.”

Part 2: Selling Your Ideas

David Lambert will be presenting on “selling your ideas” and best strategies for doing so. This will be a good topic for everyone since, well, everyone sells their ideas to someone!

Topic level: Beginner

Who should attend: People interested in increasing their productivity painlessly and learning idea-selling strategies. This will be geared especially towards designers, photographers, and freelancers/small business owners.

About the Presenters:

Megan Fister is the CPAUG manager and makes websites for small businesses with WordPress.

Dave Lambert is the CPAUG co-manager, an Account Manager for Department of Defense, and a Graphic Designer
