About this event:
Acrobat Pro: When you have to change a PDF file but don’t have the original data.
A PDF is great when you want to be sure that the file that gets printed or sent to your target audience is solid, and you don’t have to worry if the end-user had the same software and fonts you used to create it.
But what happens when you have to change information in a PDF and no one has access to the native file? That’s when you are grateful it’s not an image file and you have Acrobat Pro! From adding bleeds and changing type and images, to creating an interactive form, these tips & tricks will help you get it done—without the need of the original file.
About the presenter: Leslie Ocko has been working in graphic and web design for over 25 years. She started in computer graphics just as paste-up and ruby lithe were getting pushed to the back of the room, and QuarkXpress was the leading desktop publishing program. She works with a wide variety of clients, from Mom and Pop Shops to sub-contacting for advertising and PR firms. Stronger in technical skills than art, she is more the builder of another’s vision.
Light snacks and bottled water provided.
This event is not sponsored by the Dauphin County Library System.
