About this event:
Creating a Presence on Social Media: A Group Learning Experience!
Let’s learn together!
Dave Lambert, CPAUG manager, will present on his learnings from his own work in building his social media presence, especially on YouTube. He’ll discuss how he learned to create “middle quality” videos and start a YouTube Channel. He’ll show you how to make videos that look good, but don’t require you to be a blockbuster movie director.
As a group, we’ll analyze them, provide feedback and learn together from each other’s critiques, and suggestions of Dave’s videos. We’ll then review how Dave used his main website and discuss ways to present this type of inforamtion and the analytics available to track what is resonating (or not) with the video audience. Finally, we’ll continue the group discussion with talking about how to build an audience and how to scale for growth.
Who should attend? Social media and Video Creation isn’t just for people who want to be “YouTube stars!” If you’re a business owner, you can use it to advertise, generate new customers, and get the attention of future employees. If you’re a job seeker or community influencer, you can use it to generate buzz about yourself or you group – helping you to land a better job, promotion, and further community involvement. And if you’re retired, you can use this as an easy way to share what you’re up to with family and friends!
